De Ville

Offered for sale is this Omega De Ville Symbol, reference 196.0316 / 396.1016, dating from the 1980s quartz era. With its slim stainless-steel case, solid 18K yellow-gold bezel, and clean white dial, this De Ville Symbol is a fine example of Omega's more understated dress-watch design of the period.

The watch is powered by the ETA calibre 255.441 quartz movement, a reliable and well-documented movement. The movement runs properly and the watch presents itself as a clean, well-kept vintage piece.

The white dial remains attractive, with Roman numerals at 12, 6, and 9, applied baton markers at the remaining hours, and a date window at 6 o'clock. The stainless-steel case is complemented by a solid 18K yellow-gold bezel, and the watch is fitted with its integrated stainless-steel bracelet, reference 1449/432.

At approximately 33.5mm including the crown (31.5mm excluding it), the watch has a slim, classic vintage size that wears comfortably. Maximum wrist size is approximately 18cm. In case you have a smaller wrist, please contact us, we can change the size of the wristband free of charge.
