Privacy Policy

NM-Watches, based in Assen, the Netherlands, is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy. For anything relating to your data, contact us at hello@nm-watches.com.

When you place an order: your name, email address, shipping address, phone number if you provide one, and details of what you bought.

When you contact us or ask about a watch: your name, email address, and the content of your message.

When you submit a sell request: your name, email, phone number if provided, and the photos and details you submit about the watch you're offering.

We also read one small cookie that remembers which language (English or Dutch) you last chose, so you don't have to pick it again on your next visit.

We use this information to fulfil your order, respond to your enquiry, or put together the estimate you requested for a watch you're selling. We process this data because it's necessary to perform the contract between us, fulfilling your order, or because you've taken a clear action asking us to respond, a message or a sell request, we don't use your data for anything beyond what you asked us to do.

We don't send marketing email unless you've explicitly asked to be notified about new arrivals, and even then, you can unsubscribe at any time.

Your payment details are handled directly by our payment provider, who processes the transaction on our behalf, we never see or store your full card or bank details.

Your name and shipping address are shared with the courier delivering your order, so far as needed to get your watch to you.

Photos and details submitted with a sell request are stored securely and only used to prepare your estimate; we don't share them with anyone else without asking you first.

We don't sell your data to anyone, for any reason.

We use exactly one cookie: a small preference cookie that remembers whether you're browsing in English or Dutch. It doesn't track you, doesn't identify you personally, and isn't shared with any third party. We don't use marketing, analytics, or advertising cookies.

We keep order information for as long as we're legally required to for tax and accounting purposes, then delete it. Contact messages and sell request details are kept only as long as needed to respond to you, unless a sale results from them, in which case the same order-retention period applies.

As a resident of the EU, you have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to how we use it, under the GDPR. To exercise any of these, email hello@nm-watches.com, we'll respond within a month.

If you're ever unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Your data is stored with reputable infrastructure providers using industry-standard security practices. Access to order and customer information is limited to what's needed to run NM-Watches day to day.

If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page. Significant changes will be reflected here with a clear description of what's changed.
