Offered for sale is this beautiful Omega Genève Automatic, reference 165.041, dating from approximately 1968-1969. Featuring an elegant silver-toned dial, applied gold-tone hour markers and distinctive angular case.

The watch is powered by the highly regarded Omega calibre 552 automatic movement, a robust and well-known in-house movement from Omega's golden era of mechanical watchmaking. The movement is visible in the photographs and is currently running properly.

The original silver-toned dial has a beautifully clean and restrained appearance, with applied baton markers, central seconds and the classic Genève signature. The dial works particularly well with the gold-plated case and makes this an exceptionally versatile vintage dress watch.

The case measures approximately 34 mm excluding the crown, giving it the classic proportions of a vintage men's dress watch while remaining very wearable for those who prefer a more understated size. The watch is fitted with a new aftermarket 18 mm leather strap.
