Seamaster Polaris

Offered for sale is this beautiful Omega Seamaster Polaris, reference 396.1021, dating from 1987. Designed by the legendary Gérald Genta, the Polaris is one of Omega's most distinctive creations from the 1980s, combining an integrated bracelet, lightweight titanium construction and elegant 18K yellow gold accents into a design that has aged remarkably well.

This example remains in very attractive condition. The brushed titanium case and bracelet show honest signs of careful wear, while the gold bezel retains a rich, warm appearance. The grey dial is clean and beautifully understated, giving the watch a timeless look that works equally well as a daily wearer or as part of a vintage collection.

The watch is powered by its original Omega quartz movement, keeps accurate time and the quick-set date functions exactly as it should (screw-down crown).

Even more appealing is that this example comes as a full set. Included are the original Omega presentation box, outer box and the original warranty documents, showing the watch was originally purchased in Germany in 1987. Complete examples like this are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
